Privacy Policy

Eos Financial Planning LLC, doing business as Stardust Wealth Strategies, recognizes that our relationships with current and prospective clients are based on integrity and trust. We work hard to maintain your privacy and to preserve the private nature of our relationship with you. We place the highest value on the information you share with us. We will not disclose your personal information to anyone, unless it is required by law or at your direction. We will not sell your personal information.

We want you to understand what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect your personal information.

Why We Collect Your Information

We gather information about you so we can help design and implement the investment and financial planning related services we provide you with and to comply with the federal and state laws and regulations that govern us.

What Information We Collect and Maintain

We could collect the following types of nonpublic personal information about you:

  • Information from our initial meeting or subsequent consultations about your identity, such as your name, address, Social Security or tax identification number, date of birth, and financial information.
  • Information we generate to service your financial needs.
  • Information we could receive from third-parties, such as the custodian who holds your account(s).

What Information We Disclose

It is necessary for us to disclose nonpublic information about you to unaffiliated third-parties in certain circumstances in order for us to provide our advisory services, service your account(s), or meet the requirements of applicable federal and/or state privacy regulations. These third-parties include:

  • Your account custodian or broker-dealer, to manage your investment account;
  • Companies that provide technology, software, or web applications we use in providing services or sending communications;
  • Regulatory or law enforcement agencies, to comply with any requests or subpoenas; and/or
  • Our firm’s appointed agent(s) in order to carry out our Business Succession Plan in the event of the death or incapacity of the firm’s principal.

We disclose nonpublic personal information to unaffiliated third-parties as necessary to provide our advisory services and comply with regulatory requirements. Because this information is shared solely to service your accounts, you cannot opt out of such disclosures. However, if our business practices change to allow nonpublic information to be shared with additional third parties, our Privacy Policy will be updated to provide you with the opportunity to opt out.

We do not share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared with subcontractors that help us provide messaging services, but text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

For clients under the jurisdiction of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, we must obtain your written consent, or “opt in,” before disclosing nonpublic personal information to unaffiliated third-parties for any purpose other than servicing your account(s), providing the advisory services you have engaged us for, or complying with applicable law. Your consent to receive text messages from us constitutes written authorization to disclose your mobile phone number to our messaging service provider for that purpose. Where you have given consent, you may withdraw it at any time by emailing [email protected], or by replying STOP to any text message.

How We Protect Your Personal Information

Your privacy is of the utmost importance to us. We restrict and limit access to client information only to those who need to carry out their business functions. We safeguard client information by preventing its unauthorized access, disclosure, or use. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your confidential personal information. Before sharing information with unaffiliated third-parties, as permitted and as described above, we perform due diligence to review their privacy, confidentiality, and/or cybersecurity policies as applicable.

Former Clients

After you cease to be our client, we are required to maintain certain nonpublic information about you to comply with applicable federal and state regulations. Even if we cease to provide you with financial services, our Privacy Policy will continue to apply to you, and we will continue to treat your nonpublic information with strict confidentiality.
